About Kathy Chen
Kathy Chen is a writer with more than two decades of reporting and editing experience. She worked as a journalist and editor for The Wall Street Journal in China, Hong Kong, and Washington, and was part of a team that won the Pulitzer Prize for a series on the U.S. military. Kathy got her start in journalism at the English-language China Post in Taiwan in the 1980s. She returned to live in Taipei in 2015-18 with her four children and Great Dane when her husband Kin Moy served as director of the American Institute in Taiwan. Currently, she is working on fiction projects and as a consultant for the World Bank in Washington, D.C.
